Established on 1 July 2024, the School of Computing and Data Science (CDS) at The University of Hong Kong consolidates the strengths of the former Department of Computer Science (Faculty of Engineering) and the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science (Faculty of Science).

By converging computing, data science, and statistics, we aim to incubate future leaders equipped with fundamental knowledge and skills to navigate and shape future technological landscape."
